A bootcut that stays subtle. This black pair hugs gently through the hips and thighs, then opens into a flare small enough that it reads polished rather than retro.
The waist sits mid-rise and the hem is a regular finish, clean and unfussy, which is what makes the leg so easy to style. The elongating effect comes from the line rather than from any detail on it. Comfort stretch denim gives ease of movement and holds shape retention through wear, and the soft cotton blend is durable enough for the long run. The rise measures 10 inches, the inseam 31.5, the leg opening 10. Fabrication in the dark denim is 92% cotton, 6% polyester and 2% spandex.
Boots are the obvious pairing and the flare was cut for them, but heels and trainers work just as well. This is denim for both halves of the week.
