The knit is a super-soft sweater blend of 50% viscose, 30% polyester and 20% nylon. It stays lightweight, unlined and non-sheer, which is what lets a cardigan this cropped sit close without adding bulk anywhere. Long sleeves finish in ribbed cuffs, the hem is ribbed to match, and the soft stretch means it moves with you. It runs true to size.
Because it is black, it does more work than it should. Wear it with high-rise denim and loafers for a daytime look with structure in it, or put it over a slip dress and let the gold buttons carry the evening. It is the layer you stop thinking about.
